Recycling construction and demolition waste
In line with the Dutch government policy, which is aimed at recycling as much construction and demolition waste as possible, Recycling Kombinatie REKO has invested in the largest and most innovative Hazemag crusher in Europe at Vondelingenplaat in the Netherlands. With a capacity of approximately 1,000 tonnes per hour, we can crush large flows of mineral waste. The crushed material is then stripped of iron and organic residual fractions and sieved into the grain size required by the customer. This enables REKO to produce top-grade certified raw materials that find their way to the road building, asphalt and ready-mix concrete industries. Our intake policy is fully in line with our guiding principle which states that we only accept mineral flows that we can recycle for a 100%. The depletion of raw minerals and the degradation of the landscape reinforce Recycling Kombinatie REKO efforts to recycle CDW optimally and to use it as a secondary building material and raw material.
